The Stanford Center for Assessment, Learning and Equity has released guidance to help states and educator preparation programs successfully implement edTPA. The recommendations reflect the input of the edTPA Policy Advisory Board and cover several aspects of implementation, including timelines, performance standards and activities to prepare for edTPA. The recommendations are being shared with state education agencies and institutions of higher education. Download the recommendations.
In a new set of video interviews, faculty and administrators from teacher preparation programs across the nation talk about how they are using data and the lessons learned from edTPA to build greater collaboration across their programs, adjust curriculum and improve how they support teacher candidates. The videos were recorded during the 2013 edTPA National Implementation Conference in San Diego and reflect many of the themes and takeaways from conference presentations. See the videos here.
